The one that started it all. Our classic English Breakfast. It's exactly how a real cup of tea should taste. A perfectly balanced, malty classic. The tasty richness of Indian Assam coupled with a light, fresh Ceylon. Rolled Whole Leaves. No Dust.
Strong & Malty
Try our English Breakfast with a really good milk chocolate to really bring out the sweeter caramel notes.

How To Brew

How to Brew

1 Scoop
100° Brew Temperature
3-5 Minutes
400ml is perfect for 5g of loose leaf tea. If you're using a tea bag, 300ml is bang on. Brewing this one is all about finding just how you like it. Try brewing for 3-4 minutes black, or 4-5 minutes with milk.

Brewing Tip

Your tea will start tasting bitter if it’s left to brew for too long so if you fancy a stronger cup, add some more tea leaves.

Great tea, blended with the Earl Grey

Great tea, we blend it with the Earl Grey. Customer service also great, when Evri failed to deliver.

Why I like it Easy to brew

This is my first purchase of English Breakfast tea

I must state at first I am on the start of a journey. Finally I stopped drinking a popular brand of tea. The inconsistency was too great. One in 6 cups proved acceptable the others tasted of mud! I changed to drinking coffee. When Lavazza Intense instant coffee was withdrawn from the UK market I tried alsorts of alternative brands. All were unacceptable. I decided to experiment with tea again but only loose tea. The Brew Tea Co was my choice and I have stuck with it. Chai and Earl Grey are my favorites. English Breakfast is consistent and acceptable though the Assam reaches the sweet spot.

    Simply the best

I have tried many loose leaf teas over the years and this is the best. Proper leaves, not dust or grains. Full of flavour without be overwhelmed by tannins. It makes the perfect cup of tea at any time of day.
